The GtkEveMon Homepage

This is the Main GUI of GtkEveMon, it displays general information about your character. The list of skills shows the name, level, rank and learning progress of skills known to your character. The following icons are used to indicate the skill status:

	Skill at normal status
	Partial skill training
	Skill is currently in training
	Skill is at level 5

This is the training planner and the skill browser. You can easily switch between multiple training plans to keep your training organized. The browser displays the skill description, training time for all levels and a tree of dependencies. Here is an icon legend:

The misc configuration page lets you set mostly UI related toggles. You can specify if and how the tray is used - be careful on window managers that don't support tray icons - the GtkEveMon window might get lost then. The version checker informs you if a new SVN version is available without attracting too much attention.

If you enable automatic updating of the character status, GtkEveMon checks for expired cache timers every five minutes. It will re-request the training and the character sheet if the cache timer is expired.

The notifications page lets you specify how you would like to be informed if the skill training is completed. You can also set a notification handler here, with this handler you are able to call external programs, like a simple mail client. I strongly recommend to disable popup notifications if you use a handler. See the forums for details.

With the launcher page you can define up to five commands to launch EVE Online. You can actually launch any program, I even use it to launch WoW. If you define more than one command, GtkEveMon will ask you which command to execute.

With the time format page you can set your desired time format to not be confused with foreign formats. You can also set a HTTP proxy server if you have a restricted internet connection. Note that server status checks are not affected by the proxy server.
